The Integrative Myodynamics Method

After many years of using standard “muscle testing” via an arm to the side and resistance to downward pressure, I have uncovered inconsistencies when verifying the results bilaterally. My initial acceptance of the standard was based upon a level of confidence on my and the client’s part. However, as time went by, I noticed that when I tried to verify consistent results by testing the opposite arm, results were not always equal. I insist upon accuracy as this is a very important and intimate process. I recalled that motor function followed contra lateral spinal tracts. The motor functions of the left arm were controlled by the right side of the brain and the right arm was controlled by the left side. My suspicion was that when testing the right arm I might be getting more of a left brain opinion and visa versa.

I initially developed the Myodynometer to eliminate external influences to the muscle testing process; however the instrument often disagreed with the arm testing. Another mystery? Then like a lightning flash, it suddenly penetrated my mind that I was testing both sides of the brain simultaneously! Furthermore, crossing centerline over the heart also included the brain centers in the heart and gut. I was getting a whole system reaction! “see” Gut Feeling

It is for this reason, absent the instrument, that we test both arms extended forward with one wrist over the other. The instrument was developed to help clients develop trust in the process unaffected by the tester. I suggest that with practice, an external device would become unnecessary. Remember, “The less we rely on the extrinsic the more we rely on the intrinsic”. Dr. Anthony

Since using this whole system approach, I have thus eliminated the inconsistencies of a polarized result. As you know I don’t use the term muscle testing. I prefer “signal testing” “see” Myodynamic Biofeedback
